  26. Russified Pole born in 1878. Met Lenin in 1912 at Prague Conference and became aclose associate.  Lenin trusted him, even when warned against him, but he was actually a spy for the Okhrana.
  27. Turned up in Petrograd in 1918 demanding to see Lenin or be arrested. He was arrested and tried and executed in secret, though many feared Lenin would exonerate him.
